Teachers, create your own Coffee House in your classroom!  Discuss the power of poetry to express thoughts and feelings.   Use this Recipe for a Classroom Coffee House to start finding the poetic voices from within your students!

Or send your poem in an email message to the Coffee House teacher at sfilippo@berwickacademy.org
Include your first name, school, grade, email address, and the text of your poem. 

Design a background for your poem. (optional)
You can....

• Scan a piece of original artwork
• Draw a digital background with a paint program such as KidPix or Paint
• Save your digital image as a .jpg or .gif file
• ATTACH your image file to an e-mail, include your first name, school, email, and poem title in the body of your message.
• E-mail to the Coffee House teacher at sfilippo@berwickacademy.org

We will connect your poem and your background graphic to a coffee mug in one of our Online Cafés!

You will receive a confirmation email with the link to your poem so that you can email others to share your poetic voice!
An email link will be included on your poem page so that others can respond to your poetic voice.
