The Kendall Lower School, newly renovated in 2005, houses students in grades Kindergarten through Fourth Grade. Students spend much of their day in their home classrooms and literacy study rooms on two levels, as well as the Ruth Rioux Great Room for assemblies and special
programs. Students walk across the campus every day, to the Commons for lunch, to their own classrooms in the Jeppesen Science Center and the Whipple Art Center, and to the Katz Library, a specially-designed space for Lower School within the Jackson Library. The Athletic Center, Dance Studio, music lesson rooms, and School Store are also available to the Lower School.
