Navigating grades five through eight are some of the most exhilarating years for a child – here at Berwick we understand it is a balance of supporting and challenging students that helps to develop self-confidence and responsibility in this important time. Past the Kendall Lower School and the historic 1791 House, the Clement Middle School looks out over the expanse of the grassy main quad and playing fields. Here students have the ability to take risks, collaborate with peers and faculty, and explore current events and social issues that take them out of the confines of the classroom and into the community. The independence students gain here will carry with them as they move forward in education and in life.
