In the fall the fifth and sixth grade intramural program offers students a positive sport experience.  Players learn to pull together, accept differences, be responsible, and lead by example.  Students work together as a team and learn the rules and objectives of running a soccer event.

The goal of the fall Intramural Program is for every player to learn what it means to compete, play fair, communicate, be responsible, and have fun.

In the winter the fifth grade students are exposed to developmentally appropriate activities.  These activities include basketball, floor hockey, ice skating, cooperative activities, dance and volleyball.  Students use what they learned in the fall and apply it to these sports.

The sixth grade students learn what it means to be on a team. Intramurals prepares them for the seventh and eighth interscholastic competition by giving them experience in team play.  Students choose between ice hockey, basketball and dance.  Teachers involved in intramurals take the students through a more in depth view of their chosen activity.

In the spring the fifth graders have their choice of mountain biking, softball, baseball, tennis, lacrosse, track and field, and rock climbing. Students are taught the basics of how these sports are played.  The sixth graders have their choice of lacrosse, baseball for boys, and softball for girls.
