Dear journal,
Friday lots of people got hurt falling and slipping down the ice. Our days in the mills are not fun and tiring work. When I get home I help my husband in his shoe shop. Some days I stay home to take care of Barrila Talyor, she is very sick with the smallpox’s. I'm not sure she is going to make it. Dr. Bartlett tells me to pick up medicine at James Cooks Ayer’s store.
Who am I?
Francis Cabot Lowell , a Mill owner
Abigail Kimball Elston , a citizen
