Dear Journal,

Today was an incredible day. I woke up to the sweet smell of freshly backed muffins and porridge streaming through the room. Also the room was usually very cold but today it was very warm. As I went downstairs the boarding house mother was very angry with the boy who starts the fire because he slept late so he did not start the fire at exactly 4:30 this morning, But journal this does not make sense to me because the boy who starts the fire slept late and yet my room was so warm and toasty. Then I ate breakfast with the other girls in the dinning room. Next with Emma and I went to work. As we were walking to work we passed some New York orphan boy as we passed the they winked at us and that made us feel very uncomfortable. Later on after work Emma and I were walking home and got engaged in a conversation and without noticing it started raining and by the time we got home we were drenched

So we ran up stair and got in to new clothes. Next we ate supper now I’m writing to you. Good night journal.

Who am I?
