Yes, I am Eliza Adams. I was born in Derry New Hampshire into a family with 7 other children. I lived in Derry New Hampshire until I was 13 years old and my family moved into a farm. 14 years later I moved t o a farm. My job was a drawer-in girl. I proposed a strike to President Taylor about the mills. In 1846, I left Lowell to get a better working environment. I found a job in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Later on I moved back to Lowell and got a job in a Tailors/dressmakers shop. I died in 1881.
