Dear Journal,

It is 6: 00 time for work. I work in the drawing-in room. Today there was another accident. A girl got hit in the head with a flying shuttle. The overseer carried her back too the boarding house. After work there is a wonderful dinner. Many girls are planning strikes including my roommates and myself and we are praying that the strikes will work. See you tomorrow. BYE!

Who am I?

Abigail Elston, citizen of Lowell

Harriet Robinson, mill worker

John Amory Lowell, mill owner
