Today was a hectic day. It was also very scary. Ever since I started working here my greatest fear has been getting hurt on a machine. Today an Irish girl got hurt on a machine. Some thread got caught in her mach9ne. She acted smart and turned off her machine so she could untangle the thread all of a sudden her elbow hit the lever that turned on her machine I turned around and saw her arm caught in the machine. She was screaming at the top of her lungs. I stopped her machine for her and then I pulled her arm out gently. It was covered with blood. I took out my handkerchief and put some water on it. Then I wrapped it around her arm for a temporary bandage.

When I got home I wasn’t hungry so I wrote in the Lowell Offering with my friends and sisters
