Dear Journal,
The wake up bell rang, I was startled, then just wanted to get more rest but then, Susan reminded me that it was Christmas eve and we had to decorate and serve the girls breakfast. Knowing that it was Christmas eve I was up in my uniform. I walked down the stairs not so steady, for I had just awakened. I walked in to the dinning hall, all of the girls were sitting in their night dresses searching the air for the toasty breakfast smell. I came out of the kitchen with ham, eggs, pancakes, and syrup. Susan followed me with muffins and pastries all on beautiful china platters. The girls ate in a hurry, I think they feared lateness and a pay deduction. They finished and I sent them to work.
Who am I ?
