I’m Mary Aiken a wealthy house wife. I have six children, four boys and two girls. I’m married to John Aiken. John is an agent for the Tremont mills. I am an abolitionist and I support mill girls in their strike for better wages and working conditions. I love to read Shakespeare, particularly Hamlet. I also love to cook. But I HATE sewing!
