Camp was great! My child had never played this sport before attending camp but this was a great jumpstart. It was nice having a novice group as well as a more experienced group to guide the newer players. They learned so much and felt encouraged and supported throughout the experience. They came away loving the sport and wanting to play more.
My child was very engaged in one of the STEAM camps! They did "homework" and talked with friends and family about what they were learning—which is how I know this camp was more impactful than many others they have attended. Engaging coding/tech camps for advanced learners are hard to find in this area.

    Toilet Training
All campers must be toilet-trained in order to attend camp and able to independently use the restroom. Pull-ups are not permitted. The Berwick Academy Summer Camp staff are aware that our youngest campers may have the occasional bathroom ‘accident.’ Camp directors handle this situation with sensitivity and care. We ask that all campers have a change of clothes on hand.
  • ADDITIONAL POLICIES

    Late Pick-Up Fee
If you are more than fifteen minutes late for pick up from a 3 p.m. dismissal camp, your camper will be placed in after care with a $16 daily drop in fee. If you are late for pick up from after care, an additional late fee of $10 per every fifteen minutes will be applied to your account as well.

Electronic Devices (phones, smart watches, tablets, etc.)
Camp directors, nurses, and staff use cell phones to communicate as a team throughout the summer and in case of emergencies. Otherwise, the use of electronic communication devices is prohibited during the camp day. Campers who bring such devices to camp, except as specifically requested for use within a camp program, will be asked to turn off the device during the camp day. Campers who are not able to adhere to this policy will be asked to turn in their device until the end of the camp day.

Absences, Early Dismissal, and Alternate Pick Up
Parents/guardians are asked to report an absence as soon as possible by emailing Administrative Assistant, Jackie Garnett at jgarnett@berwickacademy.org or calling the office (and leaving a message) at 207-384-6121.

Campers who are being picked up early or arriving late by parents/guardians, or being picked up/dropped off by another adult who is not on their approved dismissal list, must provide advanced notice via email or a call to Jackie Garnett. If an individual not on the approved list is picking up a camper, they must show an ID upon arrival. Please make every effort to update your CampBrain approved pick up list.
