Congratulations on your student’s acceptance to Berwick Academy! Welcome to our amazing Middle School community, where it’s cool to be smart and where kids are encouraged to be themselves!

We know that Berwick is the right place for your family as your student embarks on a new Middle School journey. During the Middle School years of a child’s development and growth, we believe that a strong parent and teacher partnership matters and that knowing our students well is important. Whether you’re still thinking about your options or you know you’ll be joining us this fall, we strongly encourage you to strengthen your family’s understanding of Berwick through the following opportunities: 

Welcome to the Middle School! A Virtual Revisit Experience
Thursday, February 18, 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Join Head of School, Jim Hamilton, Assistant Head of School and Middle School Director, Ryan Feeley, and members of our outstanding Middle School staff for an informative and engaging evening as we welcome your family to Berwick. Learn more about the Middle School curriculum, world languages options, student experiences, and support, and participate in faculty-led mini-lessons. Join our weekly Middle School Assembly to hear Mr. Feeley’s “Bad Joke of the Week,” learn more about the student-led ‘Middle School Bulldogs for Social Justice’ initiatives, and maybe answer some trivia questions. Middle School Virtual #BABulldog Book Club Meeting
Monday, February 22, 12 p.m.

Middle School Librarian, Melissa Williams, invites you to join her for a virtual Middle School Book Club Meeting for newly accepted students! All participants will be provided with a digital copy of selected short reading and invited to engage in an informal and thoughtful discussion. Share your passion for reading, meet some of your future classmates, and learn more about the Middle School library experience from Ms. Williams. Full STEAM Ahead! 
Thursday, February 25, 3:30 p.m.
Join Middle School Science teacher, Marc Small, for a virtual STEAM-based activity. Put on your thinking caps and get creative - lab coats are not required! - and Mr. Small will guide you through this fun and interactive experience.
