Crazy Rich Asians Viewing (Canceled)

We are working on a date to reschedule this event. Stay tuned.

BPC CARES (Community, Awareness, Respect, Education & Support) has partnered with Berwick's Visual and Performing Arts department to bring the hit romantic comedy Crazy Rich Asians (PG-13) to the Patricia Baldwin Whipple Arts Center Theater on campus! All parents are invited to join the fun in the theater on this last Friday afternoon of the trimester. Parents are asked to encourage their Upper School students to join them, and Middle School students too, if parents feel it’s appropriate. Click here for the Common Sense Media review of this entertaining and important fully Asian-cast movie to learn what parents need to know, along with topics to talk about with your children on the way home. Click to read an article by Allyson Chiu, an Asian-American journalist from the Washington Post, who writes about why the film is important to her. Popcorn will be supplied by the BPC. Contacts: Meera Mahadevan (meera1996@yahoo.com) and Kristin Bailey (mainebaileys4@gmail.com).
