Special teams battle tips in favor of the Bulldogs

DOVER, NH –In a game that featured the refs more than the players, the Bulldogs took advantage and capitalized on their first three powerplays. First, it was Zander Lizotte (Scarborough, ME) taking feeds from Chris Dowd (Danville, NH) and Tyler Gaulin (Kingston, NH) before beating the Pingree goalie five-hole. Then, it was Dowd taking passes from Gaulin and Lizotte, beating the goalie on the near side under his glove. Finally, Berwick’s other powerplay unit got on the board with Tanner Derby (Newburyport, MA) burying an unstoppable one-timer on the far post from Ryan Gaulin and Jack Merecki (Stratham, NH). Dowd and Cole Shelgren (Dover, NH) rounded out the scoring for Berwick in this senior night contest that also doubled as a fundraiser for Connor’s Climb. Berwick hopes to make this an annual event moving forward and would like to thank all the volunteers and participants involved!
