JV Boys Hockey retains the "Megabowl" in a rout of Marshwood!!!

Paul Casey
JV Boys Hockey puts on its most impressive offensive performance of the year lead by freshman Tyler Shelgren (2 Goals, 2 Assist) and Senior Jake Smith (3 goals, 1 Assist).  After a slow start offensively, the Bulldogs made some halftime adjustments and it paid off as the offense came alive and scored 7 goals in the 2nd half.   Braeden Stephenson started the 2nd half off with a goal and that was followed up by Smith's first goal of the game to go up 3 - 0.  Luca Valoniti made a great effort to pick up a rebound and close out 2nd period and give the Bulldogs a 4 - 0 advantage.   Josh Hyman contributed with a goal in the third and BA just continued to roll.

Coach Casey preaches "Defense" first, take care of your own end and the "Offense" will come.  Team defense was on display throughout as Marshwood was limited in its scoring chances lead by a solid group of defenders on the blue line and was held in check by freshman Crosby Smith in goal who picked up his 4th shoutout on the season.

Boys JV Hockey back in action Wednesday vs. Holderness, come on out and support the team in its final game of the season.

Go Bulldogs!!!
