Padraic Condon ‘21 started playing lacrosse at the start of second grade while a student in the Marshwood School District. Ironically, Director of Athletics, Rob Quinn, provided Padraic with his first set of lacrosse equipment. Padraic joined youth lacrosse locally, as well as in New Hampshire, where he started playing midfield, but his coaches soon realized that he was meant for the face off position. Along with lacrosse, Condon wrestled competitively up until the ninth grade, where the skills and techniques he learned helped him form and perfect his face off strategies.

Padraic moved from town and youth to club lacrosse programs starting with the Houlagans and eventually landing with 3D New England, where he competed nationally against some of the best teams in the country. Throughout his Upper School years at Berwick, in addition to the hours dedicated to club teams, he put in numerous hours a week with a face off specialist, Joe Nardello. Joe is a top face off specialist and, at the time, a coach with the Harvard Lacrosse team. A truly humbling experience, this is where Padraic, along with other high school and college athletes, developed and improved his skills, technique, and mental preparation to better himself in the face off circle and on the entire lacrosse field. Padraic currently attends St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY.

Padraic credits the expertise and experiences of each coach and team throughout his career for all he has accomplished so far in his lacrosse journey. In his last season at Berwick he tallied 18 goals and 14 assists earning him a spot on the US Lacrosse All-American team. Congrats to Padraic!
