    Checks may be sent to:
    Berwick Academy
    The Berwick Fund
    31 Academy Street
    South Berwick, ME 03908

Visit www.berwickacademy.org/giving to make a secure gift online or call Kellie DeMers in the Advancement Office at 207.384.6303.
  • Recurring Gifts

Recurring gifts enable donors to build a significant annual contribution through smaller monthly installments. Arrangements can be made to automatically debit your checking or savings account on a monthly or annual basis, at no additional cost to the donor or Berwick Academy. To enroll, please contact Kellie DeMers in the Advancement Office at kdemers@berwickacademy.org or 207.384.6303.
  • Securities

Gifts of securities allow donors to realize substantial savings from capital gains tax. If you hold securities that would result in a long-term capital gain if sold, please consider donating shares to Berwick Academy. The actual cost to the donor is often far less than the value of your gift to the School. It is recommended that you consult with your tax advisor to discuss the latest IRS rules and regulations.

  • Personal Property

A gift of real estate, artwork, or other appreciated property will most likely result in significant capital gains tax savings to the donor. For any questions, please contact Amy Smucker at 207.384.6304 or by email at asmucker@berwickacademy.org.
  • Planned Gifts

For information about Planned Gifts, such as Charitable Gift Annuities, trusts, and bequests, see our planned giving page or contact Stephanie Caswell at 207.384.6396 or by email at scaswell@berwickacademy.org.
  • Corporate and Employer Matching Gifts

Matching gifts allow donors to double (and sometimes triple!) their donations. Check with your HR or Benefits department to see if such a program exists and how to get started. Submitting a matching gift is often as easy as completing an online form or filling out a piece of paper. Once initiated, Berwick works with your employer to take care of the rest.
