BPC Cultural Competency Committee Inaugural Meeting

The inaugural meeting for the BPC Cultural Competency Committee will take place on Monday, December 7 from 7 - 8:30 p.m. in the Wellness Center.

This committee is being created following the extensive cultural competency goals laid out by Greg Schneider in conjunction with the Board of Trustees which has culminated in the arrival of Michael Buensuceso, the Director ofCultural Competency at Berwick Academy.

The evening will provide an opportunity for parents to come together to establish our mission and goals on the roles we can play as parents in the school's initiative. Sharing our thoughts and ideas will go a long way in helping the school reinforce and strengthen its commitment towards an inclusive community and welcoming environment. During the evening, we will discuss ideas for community wide events in the future including multicultural festival celebrations as well as ways to provide learning opportunities for children and parents through inspirational speakers and noted authors on the subject.

If you are interested in getting involved in this vital initiative, please CLICK HERE to RSVP.
