Our Mission and our Core Values are central to the Berwick experience, at the heart of which are our students and their families. Our Pre-K through Grade 12 and Postgraduate students are immersed in student-centric, innovative experiences that balance tradition, challenge, and support, all within an environment where our mission of promoting virtue and useful knowledge is brought to life each day.  
 
We are still accepting applications for the 2024-2025 school year for select grades on the basis of available space and tuition resources, and if you’re ready to visit us, now is the time to connect!   • LOWER SCHOOL APPLICATION

    An admission ‘checklist’ can be found within myBerwick. This will help track what needs to be submitted, in addition to the progress of the application. The checklist describes the following requirements:

    Pre-K & Kindergarten Applicants
    • Applicant Profile
    • Tour
    • Parent/Guardian Meeting
    • On-Campus Applicant Playdate (scheduled through the Admission Office)
    • Teacher Recommendation (if the child is in a childcare/school setting)
    Grade 1 - 4 Applicants

    • Classroom Visit for Student (partial day)

      • Grade 11 - PG (PSAT, SAT, or ACT)
  • APPLY FOR FLEXIBLE TUITION (if needed)

THE SCHLEYER SCHOLARSHIP

  • Are you a Schleyer Scholar?

    To ensure that more students are able to experience a Berwick education, we offer the Mary Z. Schleyer Scholarship in addition to the $4.6M awarded in Financial Aid. This need-based scholarship provides full tuition to two new students entering ninth grade each year. Applicants must showcase extraordinary academic achievement and distinctive talents in one or more of the following areas: arts, athletics, community service, or leadership. The grant will be renewed through graduation if the student maintains an outstanding academic, social, and extra-curricular record.

Berwick Academy, situated on an 80-acre campus just over one hour north of Boston, serves 520 students, Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12 and Postgraduates. Berwick students are from Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and several countries. Deeply committed to its mission of promoting virtue and useful knowledge, Berwick Academy empowers students to be creative and bold. Berwick strives to graduate alumni who shape their own learning, take risks, ask thoughtful questions, and come to understand and celebrate their authentic selves.
