Music

Our music program begins in Pre-Kindergarten and continues through graduation, offering students a continuous and evolving experience in music. At every stage, students engage in music as part of the curriculum, with opportunities to perform, create, and develop their skills over time.
In the Lower School, students build foundational skills through an Orff-based program that emphasizes movement, singing, playing instruments, and creative exploration. These experiences are shared with the community through the Winter Solstice and numerous Celebrations of Learning throughout the year.

In the Middle School, students develop core skills of musicianship through modern band, concert band, chorus, and strings. They deepen their understanding of how music works, strengthening their connection to the music they are learning while growing as creators and explorers.

In the Upper School, students can choose to participate in year-long ensembles such as strings and jazz, or explore a wide range of hands-on, engaging electives, including vocal ensemble, modern band, and other offerings.
