Berwick Academy’s financial aid budget of over $4.6 million reflects the school’s commitment to providing access to the best PK–12 school in the Seacoast for qualified students.
We believe that financial need should never discourage a student from inquiring about Berwick Academy or from applying for admission or financial aid. Over 40% of our students receive financial aid, and our Schleyer Scholarship program offers additional need-based support for selected students.
Berwick seeks students who embody its core values of excellence, balance, integrity, and stretching through engagement in pursuit of our mission – promoting virtue and useful knowledge for the rising generations. We also strive to be an inclusive community that values diversity and celebrates individual differences.

In order to ensure that more students of the Seacoast are able to experience a Berwick education, we offer the Mary Z. SchleyerScholarship in addition to the $4.2M we give in Financial Aid. This need-based scholarship provides full tuition to two new students entering ninth grade each year. Each student grant will be renewed through graduation if the student maintains an outstanding academic, social, and extra-curricular record.
