Extended Passion Projects

In the fourth grade, students embark on a Passion Project to discover and explore a personal passion. At the completion of their Passion Project, students may elect to continue their project as an Innovation Pursuit (IP) with support from the Lower School Innovation Coordinator.
Extending their Passion Project into an IP format gives students the opportunitiy to take their project to a deeper level of inquiry through an in-depth exploration of their topic. With the support of a mentor, students prepare and present their IPs at the annual Innovation Celebration held in May.
