Upon the beautiful shores of Lake Winnipesaukee, and on a lovely October afternoon, a pair of BAs battled to 2-2 draw. In a game that seemed to have a bit of everything, both teams might feel fortunate that neither lost, while both might even feel they each had a chance to snatch victory. In any case, a tie seemed a suitable result in the end. Brewster opened the scoring just 90 seconds into the second half, after pouncing on a rebound. Berwick showed its mettle as it was forced to play from behind for only the second time this season. So, it wasn't long before Lucas Milne was pulled down in the box after running onto a well placed chip, resulting in Berwick earning its first penalty kick of the season. Center back, Alexander Ek, placed it on the twelve yard spot before cooling dispatching it into the back of the net, leveling the score at one. Berwick then took the lead when Lucas Milne was once again played in, this time by Amir Makdad, and turning past the goalie he placed a shot that hit the post. First on the rebound, Lucas drove it home to give the visitors a deserved lead. Brewster, however, was never to go away, and a series of free kicks kept the game on edge. Eventually they were able to tie things at two. With little time left on the clock, Brewster was awarded a penalty of their own, and just as all seemed lost for the Bulldogs, the spot kick soared high above the crossbar, causing frustration for those in maroon and relief for those in white. Berwick were left to rue some missed opportunities of their own over the course of the game, but they can find some satisfaction in some excellent goalkeeping and defending at key times.
