On their home turf on an unseasonably warm day, The Bulldogs took on the Dragons and added a 0-0 tie to their record. The Bulldogs earned their 7th shutout and they remain undefeated at 7-0-1 on the season.
Against a very technical and skillful Dana Hall team, the Bulldogs held their own. The Bulldogs had some solid passing combinations from the start of the game, but still had to play most of the game defensively – and they stepped up and did just that. They kept the Dragons at bay for 80 minutes.
With 17 minutes left in the first half, defender Leila Beakes ‘26 (Rollinsford, NH) blocked a hard shot at the top of the 18 to keep the game scoreless. All of the Bulldogs battled tirelessly, giving it their all.
Then, with 11 minutes in the half, a Dana Hall offensive player scored, but the goal did not count due to off-sides. The Dragons were hungry but could not capitalize, because goalkeeper Alexa Garcia ‘26 (Dover, NH) made a gorgeous diving save with 26 minutes left in the second half of the game followed by another incredible diving save only 6 minutes later when the Dana Hall player took a corner kick and Garcia punched it high and out.
The Bulldogs will take on Lexington Christian Academy next , followed by Holderness School and Newton Country Day School. Go Bulldogs!
