Student Projects

Robotics programs in Middle and Upper School give students the opportunity to work in teams on designing, building, and programming robots to perform various challenges. Students have entered school and regional competitions with their robotics teams.

The Upper School Robotics club was established in 2004, and began competing with FIRST Tech Challenge robotic parts in 2006. They moved to VEX in 2013. Members work within VEX teams as well as learning coding and CAD design to use with the School's 3D printers.

In February of 2016, the Upper School Robotics team won the Maine State Robotics championship. Their win earned them the opportunity to compete at Worlds in Kentucky. The team has grown exponentially since its inception and the addition of the new Inspiration Commons will most certainly benefit our robotics students.
