Bulldogs Grab another Win on the Road

A trip down to Pride's Crossing concluded the Bulldog's string of away games over the past 8 days. Berwick was met by a tenacious band of Vikings that contested every ball on the field, making things difficult for the visitors as they looked to settle into the game. It was freshman, Jack O'Brien, however, who instinctively attacked a cross by fellow winger, Leo Beresin, and banged it home with a full volley, giving BA a 1-0 lead that would hold up. Coming off the bench, Nii Lokko pounced on a pair of rebounds, smashing home two of his own, and giving his teammates a comfortable lead to bring into half-time. Full credit to Landmark, who never relented, creating a competitive second half. The defense kept themselves organized and cut out the many long balls they encountered, giving goalie, Jakob Loughlin, a reasonably straight-forward afternoon. Next up is an important EIL match with Concord this Friday on the Turf.
