Bulldogs edge the Lions

Berwick enjoyed a nice afternoon of good possession and a solid number of attempts on goal on their way to a comfortable 3-1 win. Mateo Jimenez capped off an excellent week netting a pair, while Diego Ortiz notched his first of the season. Strikers, Drew Cabral and Toby Zhang, were dangerous all day on the attack. It was a great team effort as Connor Hansen, Leo Beresin, and Tobias Maynard all contributed competitive minutes alongside Noah Rich, Jamie Simonds, and Emilio Jakubek. Gus Onken stood up well in the net, making a pair of saves and distributing well. Berwick returns to action on Wednesday when they host Gould Academy.
