"Moving a family across the country is stressful, and we knew investing in our children's education was one of our highest priorities. With no idea yet which town we would call home, and little familiarity with the local schools, figuring out where the girls would attend felt overwhelming.

Aaron grew up in Kittery and went to Berwick, and choosing a school with a reputation we already trusted took so much of that stress away. Wherever we ended up living, we knew our girls would be safe and cared for, with an exceptional education.

Chloe started in fifth grade, the first year of middle school. Many of her classmates had been at Berwick for years, but she was welcomed immediately, and everyone was getting used to the new middle school schedule together. Charlotte's lower school is honestly the happiest place on earth. It feels like a warm hug every single day.

What we love most is the people and the Berwick community. The families are so welcoming, the kids are kind, and the parents are truly invested in their children's education. The teachers are incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and fair. Communication matters to us, and Berwick makes it easy. We can see updates on Seesaw and change pickup plans on Pickup Patrol. Events like Blue and White Day and the Berwick Parent Community socials make every new family feel included from day one. The campus is beautiful, and the food is incredible. As a bonus, we never have to pack school lunches!

When you're juggling worries all day at work, it means everything to know you never have to worry about your kids. Berwick is worth every bit of that peace of mind."

"When we decided to relocate to Maine, our top priority was finding the right school for our two young children. We wanted an environment that would keep them challenged and engaged academically, while also offering the comfort and community support our family needed during a major transition. From the moment we walked onto the Berwick Academy campus, we felt just that.  When our children felt the exact same way, we knew we had found our place.

Every step of the onboarding process—from initial conversations with the Admissions Team to Orientation and "Playdates" for the entire family, Parent-Teacher Conferences, and the varied campus events—provided genuine opportunities to connect with families and staff. We felt welcomed and cared for right away, surrounded by a community that was genuinely excited to get to know us and support our transition.

It has been incredible watching our children settle into campus life, build strong bonds with friends and teachers, and explore new interests they might not have discovered otherwise. Berwick Academy truly offers something for every student, and the faculty know exactly how to ignite their curiosity. Knowing that our children can thrive on the same campus from PreK-12 is an exciting, rare, and deeply reassuring advantage for our family.

A recent highlight for our family was attending the Founder’s Day Celebration and school-wide Pep Rally to kick off Blue and White Weekend. The energy and camaraderie across all grade levels was palpable, with a clear sense of pride in being a Berwick Bulldog.

For anyone considering Berwick Academy, we strongly encourage you to step onto the Hilltop and experience it firsthand. You will quickly see what makes this school so exceptional. Joining a community with such rich history feels truly special."
