Grade 7 Parent/Child Workshop

On Tuesday, February 25, the Berwick Wellness Team will host this year's Seventh Grade Sexual Health Workshops for students and parents at 5 p.m. in the Commons lounge. The parent workshop is called Being an Askable Parent: Talking with Your Child About Sexuality. We will introduce the parents to the healthy sexuality curriculum, as well as provide them with an opportunity to participate in activities designed to encourage healthy communication. The student workshop that evening will kick off the unit of study for their seventh grade health class and will include small group activities with the Upper School Student Wellness Advisory Team (S.W.A.T.), fostering dialogue and increasing comfort.

Pizza, drinks, and desserts will be provided, and the workshop will conclude no later than 7 p.m. Special homework accommodations will be made for the students that evening. In case of a weather-related cancellation, the make-up date for this event would be on Thursday, February 27. Should questions arise, please reach out to Holly Bennett at hbennett@berwickacademy.org
