Lunch & Learn: Lower and Middle School Library

Prospective Lower and Middle School families are invited to join us for a Jackson Library Lunch & Learn on Thursday, January 14 at 12 p.m. This virtual presentation and conversation with Berwick’s Lower School Librarian, Jennifer Brewer, and Middle School Librarian, Melissa Williams, will highlight how Berwick’s Library Curriculum:

  • develops young readers and promotes a life-long appreciation for literature;
  • provides inclusive titles that allow students to see themselves reflected in the books they read, empowering them to empathize with others’ experiences;
  • incorporates the power of technology to improve learning and foster innovation and communication;
  • educates students to be skillful and conscientious researchers;
  • and addresses responsible digital citizenship.
