Dance

From exploring fundamental rhythms in Lower School to mastering advanced choreography in the Upper School ensembles, Berwick Academy’s dance program offers students a year-round pathway to develop technique, express creativity, and perform on stage.
Lower School dance classes are offered during the school day as auxiliary options, with offerings ranging from Acro Hip Hop to Jazz and Ballet.

Young Bulldogs Company, part of the Young Bulldogs afterschool program, invites students in grades 2–4 to build technique, learn choreography, and perform in the May Dance Concert.

Across Middle and Upper School, students can participate in a range of technique and ensemble classes—from Hip Hop to Musical Theater Dance to Company ensembles. Classes meet year-round and may fulfill an afternoon requirement or be taken in addition to the Berwick afternoon program.

Each spring, students perform in three K–12 Dance Concerts, alongside a themed Dance Company performance featuring Young Bulldogs, Middle School, and Upper School Company dancers.
