9:00–9:20 a.m. | Morning Meeting
Students and teachers gather in a circle to begin the day. This meeting typically consists of a greeting, a story, song and movement and will usually involve a short lesson, student sharing or calendar math. The morning meeting evolves throughout the year based on the increased attention spans and more complex lessons and student driven inquiries. Morning Meeting is one of the most important parts of the Pre-Kindergarten experience.
