Theater
At Berwick, theater is an inclusive, collaborative community. Everyone who auditions is cast. Everyone who signs up for stage or tech crew plays a vital role. Our program is resourceful, joyful, and built on the unique strengths of each student.
Each season includes an Upper School dramatic play, an Upper School musical, and a Middle School musical, all connected to our afternoon programs, with rehearsals held after school. Students take the stage, design and build behind the scenes, and develop real-world, transferable skills.
At Berwick, theater brings the entire community together—through school-wide previews and performances that consistently play to sold-out audiences.

Berwick Academy, situated on an 80-acre campus just over one hour north of Boston, serves 520 students, Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12 and Postgraduates. Berwick students are from Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and several countries. Deeply committed to its mission of promoting virtue and useful knowledge, Berwick Academy empowers students to be creative and bold.
