Advisory Groups/Homeroom

In the Middle School, every student is known and has a trusted faculty member they can go to for support and encouragement and who serves as an important communication link to parents.
Fifth and sixth graders have a homeroom that they attend most classes with, while seventh and eighth graders are assigned to advisory groups. With this model, all students have a built-in peer group to engage in conversations and activities about important issues.
