Little Bulldogs Day Camp
June 20 - 24 and June 27 - July 1, 2011
Dates: Session 1: June 20 - 24, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Session 2: June 27 - July 1, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. (ends at 1 p.m. on Fri. July 1)
Location: Lower School Kindergarten Room
Grades: Entering Kindergarten- Grade1
Cost: $200 per session
Other: Wear comfortable play clothes that can get messy! Bring lunch, snacks, drinks,
bathing suit, towel, sunhat, and sunscreen.
Course Description:
Join us for Little Bulldogs Camp for a week of adventure and fun. We believe that children arenaturally curious and we have created a unique program for children entering kindergarten and first grade that will stimulate their imagination and will just be plain fun. Each day children will have an opportunity to complete various art, music, outdoor, science, reading, and dramatic play projects in the warm and safe environment of Berwick Academy’s Lower School kindergarten classroom. Day camp teachers work with young children throughout the school year and have the knowledge and skills to take a positive approach designed to excite, engage, and support your child. Exploration will be our theme. Rain or shine we will create and explore and most of all enjoy ourselves! We look forward to welcoming your child to a week (or two) of fun and adventure at our Little Bulldogs Camp.
Instructor:
For the second year, Kelly Martin will be working with Little Bulldogs Campers. She is currently a third grade teacher at Berwick, and has taught both Kindergarten and second grade through her 17 years at the Academy. Additionally, Ms. Martin has taught preschool aged children and enjoys working with children of all ages.
