Key Hits and Great Pitching were the Difference Makers
Tenth grade catcher, Dermott McKinnon drove in four runs on three hits to lead Berwick past league opponent Bancroft 11 -1. Tyler Monetacalvo's rbi two-out double helped extend the lead to three in the bottom of the 5th inning. Easton Genest contributed with two hits while finishing the last inning on the mound and not allowing a hit. Cam Clark doubled, scoring three runs, helped seal the victory. Curtis Savage earned the win for the bulldogs (3-1) as he finished the day giving up one earned runs while striking out nine batters.
