The Bulldogs take a bite out of the Lions

Berwick continued to take their show on the road with a Friday visit to Lexington Christian Academy. Matched up against an organized and skilled team and set on a confining surface, Berwick knew they would have to remain on point with their passing and defending. Inspired by what they knew could be a restful three day holiday weekend, Berwick wasted very few moments on the occasion. Sharp ball circulation from our back line allowed for continued pressure, and the energy levels of Amir and Rogan made sure our goal scoring opportunities were many. Jack O led all scorers with a hat-trick. Jack M brought the score to 3-0 early in the second half, and Spinney wrapped things up with a couple of bangers himself. Assists to Spinney (2), Rogan, Liam, Amir, (and another to be settled once the review is completed by the Goal Accreditation Panel). The boys will now enjoy a well earned mini-vacation with many of our seniors headed off on college tours. We return to league play on Wednesday the 14th with a well anticipated visit from Concord Academy.
