Make - Up vs. Pingree (Away)

The Berwick Academy JV Boys Hockey team traveled to the Pingree School on Thursday, February 17th, to make up a snowed out game vs. the Highlanders in South Hamilton, MA. The final score was BA 5, Pingree 2.

The Bulldogs took an early 3 to 0 lead in the first, Jake Woodward (assists (2) Mullaney) putting home 2 and Bill Leach (assists Bradley, Wyskiel) netting the third.

Unfortunately the early lead left Berwick feeling too confident and eventually the Highlanders woke up, narrowing the score to 3-2 in the second period and allowing only one shot to go on net against their Pingree goalie.

In between periods the Bulldogs regained their focus in the locker room, Ian Wright stepping up to point out the mental errors and lack of discipline on the ice. The BA locker room talk sunk in and the third period saw a much more dominant Bulldogs team take the ice.

Ian Wright put home an unassisted 4-2 goal and Jake Woodward did the same with time running out in the game to convert on the first Bulldog hat trick of the season.

Sam Hereford played another outstanding game in goal, turning aside all but 2 shots. Brian Horner, Dante Fabricatorre-Urban, and Jordan Sanford also continued to not only improve their personal play but contributed tremendously to the BA penalty kill and power play.
