Berwick Pulls Away from Bancroft

Worcester, MA The Berwick Academy(7-8) Boys lacrosse team traveled to central Massachusetts today to take on League opponent the Bancroft School(7-3). Berwick came away with a 10-5 victory. It was a close first half, but Berwick pulled away in the second half scoring 3 fourth goals to seal the victory. Senior Stephen Sherbahn had his best outing of the year scoring 4 goals and recording 1 assist. Junior Lucas Michaud scored 2 goals and had 1 assist, Senior Colin Gaynor had 1 goal and 1 assist, senior Alex Katz scored 1 goal and 1 assist, senior Elias Thayer scored 1 goals, and junior Joey Lazarro scored 1 goal. Junior Liam Darcy recorded 11 ground balls and picked up 1 assist. Berwick plays their final regular season game tomorrow vs. Beaver Country Day school at 1pm being played at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA.
