Berwick Opens With Win at Groton

It took 40 minutes, but Berwick finally found their rhythm in Wednesday's season opener at Groton.  Down 0-2 with 5 minutes left in the game, the Bulldogs rallied to score three goals and come away with a win.

Senior captain Tilly Burzynski opened the scoring with an assist from Anna Cosentino. Anna followed up with a goal of her own assisted by line-mate, Lizzy Gross. Gross next put away the winning goal with an assist from line-mates Anna Cosentino and Alyssa Hulst.

Senior goalie, Julia Mini, had 16 saves. With some of the jitters out, Berwick is looking forward to the season ahead. The Bulldogs are on the road again this Friday facing Holderness at neutral site, New Hampton.
