Berwick Beats Winsor for Sixth League Win

Berwick Academy traveled to Wentworth Institute of Technology to take on Winsor.  Berwick jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead in the top of the 1st inning after a single by lead-off hitter Anna Cosentino and a home run by Lauren Leidemann-Smith, but Winsor answered back with two runs in the bottom of the 1st.  Berwick added another run in the 2nd inning, but a big 7 run inning in the 3rd put Winsor away.  Anna Cosentino, Taylor Lyman and Raegan Kelly also added homeruns.  Ann had 3 RBI's, Lauren had 6, Taylor had 3 and Raegan had 2.  Raegan Kelly pitched the entire game.  She threw 15 strikeouts, had 3 walks and allowed only 1 hit.  Berwick's next game is on Blue & White day, at home against Lexington Christian Academy.
