Visit Berwick

The best way to experience Berwick is to visit campus and meet our students and faculty.  During your visit, you can begin to imagine yourself in our classrooms, on the stage, in the Fabrication Studio, on the turf field, working with a mentor on an Innovation Pursuit, or hanging out with your friends in the Commons.

Berwick in Action

We encourage you to attend BERWICK IN ACTION event as a first step in getting to know our school. This program, held monthly from 7:45 - 11 a.m., provides an opportunity for prospective students and their families to visit classes, meet our amazing faculty, students and parents, and learn about our innovation programming. The remaining dates for our Berwick in Action events this academic year are: April 6 (Lower and Middle School) and May 11.

Lower School Events

Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten applicants and parents should plan to attend a Play Date as part of the application process. We believe it is important for your child to experience our classroom, engage with his or her peers, and in turn, for our teachers to observe your child and assess his/her fit with our educational program. While your child attends class, parents have the opportunity to learn more about Berwick Academy and the Lower School curriculum with Lower School Director Joel Hawes.

Pre-K and Kindergarten Play Date:
Wednesday, April 18 from 8:30-10:30 a.m. in the Lower School

Please RSVP to Sarah Gurry at sgurry@berwickacademy.org or 207-384-6301

Also, please join us for our upcoming Children's Book Author Storytime on Wednesday, April 11 at 3:15 p.m. Maine author Michelle Patch will read her book The Boston Terrier who thought he was a Loon.
