Mark Summers

I have had the pleasure of teaching fourth grade at Berwick Academy since 2001. Prior to that, I taught second and third grade in Berwick, Maine (MSAD #60) for sixteen years.
I graduated from the University of Maine with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and I am passionate about teaching young children. I grew up in Massachusetts and had the opportunity to attend independent schools. I understand and appreciate the value of an independent school education and I enjoy sharing those values with my students and their parents. My wife and I live in Kittery, Maine and have two grown daughters. We tutor students during the summer and we love working in our garden, walking, biking, and enjoying all that the seacoast area has to offer.
