Off Campus Trips

During each school year, Middle School students participate in a wide range of off-campus trips both for community-building purposes and for recreation.
All-school trips include our annual ski trip to Gunstock Mountain and our spring trip to Canobie Lake Amusement Park. Additionally, each grade level enjoys different field trips that connect to their respective curricula. For example, our fifth graders visit Lowell National Historical Museum, while our sixth graders, students explore the New England Aquarium and the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. The seventh grade hikes Mt. Major each fall and visits Laudholm Farm in the spring to culminate their year. The eighth grade heads to Portland in the fall for their annual community trip, featuring leadership challenges and team-building activities such as the Amazing Berwick Race, based on the popular reality show. In November, students travel to the Edward Kennedy Institute in Boston, as part of their Ethics and History curricula.
