Berwick drops close one to Brooks

Berwick didn't take long to shake off the bus legs as they worked hard matching shift for shift with Brooks. After solid chances for both teams, the 1st period ended 0-0. Brooks would take advantage of a scramble in front of the net to go ahead 1-0. Undeterred, Berwick continued to get chances. Heading into the the second period, play remained even as it had all game. Brooks pulled ahead 2-0 late in the 3rd period. Julia Cabral on a feed from Ella Souza (2026) would bring Berwick within one but time would expire and the game ended 2-1 in favor of Brooks. The Bulldogs gave another solid team effort with the whole bench contributing in each zone. Bella Pomarico continued her stellar efforts turning away 48 shots. Berwick is looking ahead to a big weekend tournament at Dexter Southfield.
