On Wednesday, Oct. 28, the Bulldogs faced their first NEPSAC class C match-up of the week,
playing the Proctor Hornets on the Bulldogs’ home turf. The Hornets won 2-0, but the Bulldogs played hard and will hold their heads high as they face the rest of the matches in their season.
The Bulldogs are now 10-3-1 on the season.
The Bulldogs faced a fast and physical Proctor team, and still kept the game scoreless in the first half. Unfortunately, they could not do so in the second half, as Proctor scored in the 43rd minute and again in the 63rd minute. All of the Berwick players played with grit and heart. Despite their relentless hustle, they could not get on top of this game.
The Bulldogs  will travel to Rhode Island on Saturday, Oct. 31 to play Portsmouth Abbey. Go Bulldogs.
