Sofía Snow

Artist, educator, organizer, Sofía Snow, is this year's featured poet in Berwick Academy's third annual celebration of poetry. Student poets, dancers, artists, and musicians will participate in the evening's celebration of story, sound, movement, and imagery.

The City of Boston named February 28th Sofía Snow Day in recognition of her work as a poet, community organizer, and advocate for women artists.

Ms. Snow has been selected for Spoken Word Artist of the Year by the Massachusetts Industry Committee Hip Hop Awards, and has shared the stage with spoken word artists Rakim, Willie Colón, and Raheem DeVaughn.
