Battle at the top ends in a rare halve
The bulldogs teed off Wednesday afternoon against a strong Portsmouth Abbey group. Getting off to a hot start, Jack Kenney (40) and Shivani Vora (37), both won their matches to give the bulldogs a 3-0 lead. In the middle frame Ronan McDonald shot a personal low 39 to get the Bulldogs to a 4.5-1.5 lead. In the last pairings, the Ravens battled back to take the remaining 3 points and equal the match.
Berwick currently sits 2nd in the EIL and tees off next Wednesday against Landmark School.
