Berwick Stumbles Again
A fluke goal in the first half was compounded by an untimely give-away that led to a swift Pingree counter attack in the second half. In spite of the 2-0 deficit, the visiting Bulldogs never relented. A deflection by Jonah Hanson from a powerful shot by Mateo Jimenez cut the lead in half, and in the dying moments BA had a number of chances to draw level, but it wasn't to be. Hopefully our fortunes can be reversed when these EIL rivals meet up again next Wednesday. In the meantime, a Saturday visit to Tilton is on the books.
